Cryogen-Expo.Industrial Gases in Moscow is an international trade fair for cryogenic engineering, cryogenic equipment, industrial gases and LNG technologies. It is aimed at companies, research institutions and industry professionals involved in developing, manufacturing or applying cryogenic technologies in industrial and scientific settings.
The exhibition is held annually in September at the VDNH All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow. Cryogen-Expo.Industrial Gases is organised by the Moscow-based exhibition company Mir-Expo, which works with international industry associations and organises specialist events for cryogenic engineering and industrial gases in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition covers the entire technology chain, from gas production and liquefaction through storage and transportation to industrial, medical and scientific applications. Key areas include cryogenic equipment and technologies, industrial gases, hydrogen and helium technologies, LNG and natural gas. Exhibits include cryogenic valves and fittings, air separation units, vacuum technology, heat exchangers, pumps and compressors, cryogenic insulation, measurement and control systems, and microcryogenic technology. The exhibition also features equipment for the production and processing of nitrogen, oxygen, argon, hydrogen, acetylene, helium and carbon dioxide, along with gas mixing and purification systems and technologies for rare and high-purity gases. Further areas of focus include equipment and vessels for the storage, transportation and distribution of industrial gases and LNG, as well as LNG filling stations and the use of natural gas as a fuel.
Alongside established industrial applications, Cryogen-Expo.Industrial Gases also addresses specialised technologies with significant future potential. These include cryobiology and cryomedicine, encompassing cryobanks, Dewar vessels and freezing systems for biological materials, as well as equipment for cryosurgery, cryotherapy, oxygen therapy and aesthetic medicine. The range of topics extends to superconductivity, cleanroom technology, thermal insulation materials, cryogenic supply systems for superconducting equipment, and carbon capture and utilisation technologies. Other areas include LNG infrastructure and the use of LNG as a fuel in shipping and rail transport, high-purity gases for the semiconductor industry, and alternative hydrogen energy technologies.
The exhibition attracts an equally diverse professional audience. Exhibitors, visitors and business partners represent sectors including mechanical and plant engineering, metallurgy, oil and gas, chemicals and energy technology, electronics and electrical engineering, aerospace, shipbuilding, rail transport, food processing and medicine, as well as research and development institutes. The event brings manufacturers of cryogenic equipment and industrial gases together with engineers, scientists, plant operators, technical decision-makers, developers and prospective customers.
An important part of the event is its accompanying scientific and technical conference programme. This is complemented by specialist discussions at exhibitors' stands and demonstrations of equipment, technologies and product samples.
Cryogen-Expo.Industrial Gases therefore serves as a specialised B2B platform for companies and professionals working in cryogenic engineering, industrial gases, LNG, hydrogen and helium. Its venue further reinforces the exhibition's significance: the extensive VDNH complex is one of Moscow's best-known exhibition and event venues. Pavilion 57 is easily accessible by public transport. According to the organiser, the main entrance is approximately a seven-minute walk from VDNKh metro station. Additional connections are available via Botanichesky Sad metro station and a range of bus and tram services. Cryogen-Expo.Industrial Gases thus combines a long-established Moscow exhibition venue with an international industry platform showcasing current developments and emerging technologies in cryogenic engineering and the industrial gases sector.
Already for the twenty-third time the Cryogen-Expo Industrial Gases takes place on 3 days from Wed., 16.09.2026 to Fri., 18.09.2026 in Moscow.
