EFX Stuttgart

EFX – Expo for Electronics Manufacturing is a new, highly specialized trade fair that covers the entire process chain of electronics manufacturing. It represents a unique event format dedicated to addressing the key challenges and innovations in the microelectronics and EMS sectors. As an abbreviation of "Expo for Electronics Manufacturing", EFX stands not only for the name but also for the ambition to make all relevant areas – from components, PCBs, and materials to packaging, digitalization, and sustainable production – visible and tangible.

Held every two years at Messe Stuttgart, the trade fair takes place at an internationally connected venue in the heart of Baden-Württemberg, one of Europe’s most innovative regions. Organized by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, EFX offers a forward-looking platform for developers, production planners, process managers, buyers, and decision-makers from across the electronics industry.

The content focus of EFX is precisely aligned with the current and future needs of the sector. Key topics include process control, advanced packaging and interconnection technologies (e.g., Advanced Packaging, 3D/MID), test engineering, smart manufacturing, circular economy, and resource-efficient production. The program is further enriched by forward-looking themes such as the use of VR/AR in manufacturing, talent development, start-up culture, and business succession. Innovative formats such as the ElectroniX Hackathon, “Fuck-Up Noon”, the networking event “Cocktail & Collaboration”, live lectures, and the Start-Up Corner give the fair a distinctive innovation and community character.

Exhibitors primarily come from the fields of electronics manufacturing, EMS services, machinery and plant engineering, materials technology, automation, software development, and sustainable technology. The trade audience includes manufacturers, OEMs, EMS providers, research institutions, start-ups, educational institutions, and media representatives.

The first edition and therefore the premiere of the EFX takes place on 3 days from Tue., 06.10.2026 to Thur., 08.10.2026 in Stuttgart.
