MCH Messe Basel Also know as Messegelände Basel

Basel is located close to the river Rhine providing one of the most beautiful old towns in Europe. The famous Cathedral, the magnificent City Hall, and one of the oldest Rhine crossings between North Sea and Lake Constance named Middle Bridge invite to a visit. The MCH Messe Basel offers a modern hall complex, a multi-functional event hall, and a muscial theatre as well as the Congress Center with 16 congress and conference rooms. The varying halls and rooms can be partly combined for exhibitions and trade fairs. The complex has a size of 141.000 sqm and an exhibition space of 83.000 sqm. Several extensive modernisation measures and enlargements are planned till 2013. Five halls of different sizes and with several floors are available. The fairground is located in the heart of Basel. The city train lines 1 and 2 connect the main station to the city train station Messeplatz. The city represents the railway and motorway junction of the neighbouring countries France and Germany. The A2 exit Messe directly leads to the 1.600 parking places at the Exhibition Centre car park. The European Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is in a driving distance of 15 minutes.
