Founded in 2008, Expoforest is the largest forestry sector trade fair in Latin America, organized every four years by Malinovski – Beyond the Forest. The event takes place in Mogi Guaçu, a city in Brazil, known for its lush nature and forests, which provide an authentic setting for the presentations. The organizer, Malinovski, is a renowned actor in the forestry sector, possessing extensive expertise and experience, and is committed to improving and promoting forestry. Brazil is one of the countries with the largest forest areas in the world, and forestry plays a crucial role in the Brazilian economy. Therefore, Expoforest holds great significance for the country as a whole. At the event, new technologies and methods for sustainable forestry are presented, contributing to the increase in productivity, job creation, and minimization of environmental impacts. The exhibition takes place outdoors, where manufacturers present their latest forestry equipment and machinery. Visitors have the opportunity to experience the latest innovations up close, while also gaining valuable insights from industry experts. The broad range of products and services presented covers all aspects of forestry, with a focus on logging and timber transport. In addition to the exhibitions, various seminars and meetings are held where methods for problem-solving and increasing efficiency and profitability are discussed.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 11. April to 13. April 2018, about 208 exhibitors and 25000 visitors on the Expoforest in Mogi Guaçu.
The Expoforest takes place every four years, and therefore for the 6th time previsibly in August 2027 in Mogi Guaçu.
