FOODTECH Taipei

FOODTECH TAIPEI, officially known as the Taiwan International Food Processing Machinery Exhibition, is an annual, internationally acclaimed trade fair held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan's vibrant capital, Taipei. Exclusively accessible to trade visitors, the event opens its doors to the general public only on the final exhibition day. It offers attendees unique insights into cutting-edge technologies and innovations within the fields of food technology and processing.

As a core component of the "Food Taipei Mega Shows", which integrates several specialized trade fairs, FOODTECH TAIPEI is particularly renowned for its comprehensive showcase of machinery, equipment, and solutions related to food processing, packaging technologies, and modern automation and robotic systems. Additionally, the exhibition emphasizes food safety and quality control, highlighting analytical technologies for contaminant detection, hygiene and sanitation systems, as well as traceability solutions using blockchain and IoT technologies.

Another major theme of the fair is functional foods and health innovations, encompassing nutraceuticals, plant-based protein alternatives, and dietary supplements. FOODTECH TAIPEI is organized by the distinguished Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), an organization significantly dedicated to fostering international trade and supporting Taiwanese enterprises in their global expansion efforts. Since 2020, the collaboration with Bio/Pharmatech Taiwan has enhanced the exhibition, adding depth in areas such as laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical processing, biomedical technologies, and automation.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 22. June to 25. June 2022, about 98 exhibitors and 28601 visitors on the FOODTECH in Taipei.
