The well-known city Las Vegas is the biggest city of the US State of Nevada and famous as the gambling stronghold with its many casinos in the middle of the surreal surroundings of Nevada´s desert. More than half a million people are living in Las Vegas, the catchment area of the city has a population of 2 million people. More than 40 million people are attracted every year to visit Las Vegas by famous artists and their shows as well as by the casinos. Naturally, such a big metropolis provides a suitable exhibition centre. The Las Vegas Convention Center offers an exhibition space of at least 186.000 sqm and 144 conference rooms with a total space of 22.400 sqm. A large entrance with a great lobby has the same size. The halls are flanked by numerous car parks of varying size, named after different colours such as Blue Lot and Gold Lot. The Convention Center can be reached via the motorway 15. The Desert Inn Road directly leads from the exit into the heart of the area. A monorail connects the MGM Grand Station with the LVCC station. The fairground is situated 4 km away from the Las Vegas Downtown, close to the Country Club. The international Airport is in a distance of 5 km.
