MAGDEBOOT is the most significant water sports exhibition in Central Germany and an annual highlight for water sports enthusiasts from all over the country. Since its inception in 2000, this public trade fair has brought the entire spectrum of water sports to the exhibition halls of Magdeburg. Organized by MVGM GmbH, the event showcases an impressive variety of boats, trending water sports, accessories, and travel offerings for water lovers—spread across a spacious exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters.

From high-performance motorboats and sailboats to luxurious yachts, modern electric boats, and sturdy aluminum and houseboats—MAGDEBOOT has something to offer both seasoned skippers and newcomers alike. In addition to presenting innovative boats, a key focus is placed on charter options for unforgettable voyages, as well as premium boat accessories for water sports enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Water tourism also plays a central role, with travel agencies and charter providers presenting stunning destinations and offering insider tips for exploring Europe’s most beautiful waterways.

More than just a marketplace for expert discussions and purchasing decisions, the exhibition is an experience in itself. Visitors can discover the latest trends in water sports, such as stand-up paddling, e-biking, and caravaning. A special highlight is the Water & Fun Sports Area, featuring a large water basin where visitors can test SUP boards and kayaks. Additionally, interactive activities such as motorboat test rides, sailing workshops, and paddle and rowing courses provide hands-on experiences.

MAGDEBOOT takes place annually in March at the Magdeburg exhibition center, which is conveniently located and equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The city itself, situated along the Elbe River and near the Magdeburg Waterway Cross, offers the perfect setting for this maritime event.
