PARTS PROCESSING TECH JAPAN Tokyo

15. - 17. July 2026 | Trade fair for processing technologies and small batch production

PARTS PROCESSING TECH JAPAN is a specialised trade exhibition dedicated to high-precision manufacturing and machining technologies. Held annually each summer at Tokyo Big Sight, one of Japan’s premier exhibition venues, the event forms an integral part of TECHNO-FRONTIER, one of the country’s leading platforms for innovation in electronics, mechatronics and industrial production engineering. The exhibition is aimed at companies and industry professionals involved in advanced component and parts manufacturing processes.

At its core are manufacturing technologies that are widely regarded as a cornerstone of Japan’s industrial sector and a key contributor to the country’s global competitiveness.

The event is organised by the Japan Management Association (JMA), a long-established and highly respected organisation in Japan. For decades, JMA has been responsible for organising trade fairs, conferences and management events across a wide range of industries. Renowned for delivering high-quality industry events, the association actively promotes collaboration and knowledge exchange between industry, research institutions and the wider business community.

PARTS PROCESSING TECH JAPAN focuses on innovative manufacturing processes and highly specialised machining technologies. Key areas of interest include precision machining through turning, milling and machining centres; pressworking, bending and stamping technologies; micro-manufacturing and nanofabrication; electrical discharge machining (EDM); and electrochemical machining processes. The exhibition also showcases surface treatment and finishing technologies, including polishing, coating and anodising. Additional areas of focus include the processing of advanced materials such as ceramics, plastics and carbon-fibre-reinforced composites, as well as specialised techniques including precision drilling, drawing and metal spinning.

The exhibition presents a comprehensive range of products and services, from high-precision machine tools and measurement and inspection equipment to production management systems, industrial 3D printing solutions and specialist subcontract manufacturing services. Exhibitors demonstrate their capabilities in prototyping, small-batch production, rapid-turnaround manufacturing and large-scale industrial production. One of the event’s key strengths is the opportunity to explore innovative manufacturing solutions for complex components and engage directly with the technical experts and decision-makers behind them.

Highlights of the exhibition include live demonstrations of advanced manufacturing processes, presentations of new materials and machining methods, and a wide range of technical seminars and expert forums held as part of TECHNO-FRONTIER. The emphasis is firmly on knowledge transfer, professional networking and the presentation of practical solutions to the challenges currently facing the manufacturing industry.

Exhibitors primarily represent sectors such as mechanical engineering, tool and mould making, precision manufacturing, metalworking, surface engineering, automation technology, materials engineering, metrology and industrial services. Key visitor groups include development engineers, production managers, manufacturing planners, procurement specialists, designers and senior decision-makers from industries including automotive manufacturing, electronics production, aerospace, medical technology, machinery and plant engineering, as well as the precision engineering and microtechnology sectors.

Tokyo Big Sight, the event venue, is one of Japan’s largest and most advanced exhibition and convention centres. Located in the innovative Ariake district on Tokyo Bay, it benefits from excellent transport links. Visitors can easily access the venue via the Yurikamome and Rinkai lines, as well as through Tokyo’s international gateways, Haneda Airport and Narita International Airport. The exhibition therefore provides an ideal platform for domestic and international trade visitors to discover the latest developments in Japanese and global manufacturing at one of Asia’s most important economic hubs.
