SITDEF Lima

SITDEF – Salón Internacional de Tecnología para la Defensa y Prevención de Desastres Naturales – has established itself since its inception in 2007 as one of the most important trade fairs for defense and security technology in Latin America. Every two years, the Cuartel General del Ejército in the centrally located district of San Borja in Lima, Peru, transforms into an international forum for innovation, collaboration, and advancements in security-related fields.

The exhibition is organized by Stockholm Exhibitions, an experienced player in the trade fair industry. With its unique concept, SITDEF offers much more than a conventional trade show. It combines cutting-edge technological developments with a clear thematic focus on defense and disaster prevention, specifically addressing professionals from government authorities, armed forces, and civil security institutions.

At its core, SITDEF showcases current advancements in defense technology, public safety, disaster preparedness, and cybersecurity. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 28. October to 31. October 2021, about 170 exhibitors from 27 countries on the SITDEF in Lima.

The SITDEF takes place biennially, and therefore for the eleventh time previsibly in April 2027 in Lima.
