The viennacontemporary, often simply abbreviated as "VC", represents the premier annual event for contemporary art in Vienna. Since its inception in 2015, the art fair has rapidly evolved into an international hub for art lovers and professionals alike. Originally known until 2014 as Viennafair, it now enjoys international recognition and is organized by VC ARTFAIRS GmbH. The event takes place every September at Messe Wien.

The modern and spacious venue ideally supports the extensive offerings of viennacontemporary. Exhibitors from various sectors of the art scene—including galleries, artists, and artisans—display works in painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, new media, and installation art.
