The vocatium Magdeburg is a specialized trade fair for career and study orientation, held annually since 2008 at the Maritim Hotel in the heart of Magdeburg. It is organized by the IfT Institute for Talent Development GmbH, a nationwide provider specializing in personalized educational and career guidance for young people. The name vocatium is derived from the Latin word vocatio, meaning “calling” – a nod to the fair’s core mission: supporting young people as they navigate their paths toward vocational training, university studies, or voluntary service.

Once a year, the Maritim Hotel becomes a platform for targeted encounters between students exploring their career options and representatives from business, academia, and educational institutions. vocatium Magdeburg stands out from traditional education fairs: pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings offer participants not only in-depth information but also concrete prospects for their professional future.
