Art Basel

The Art | Basel, founded in 1970, is the world's leading art fair for modern and contemporary art. It takes place annually in June at the MCH Messe Basel and is organized by the MCH Group AG. The main themes of the fair are the presentation and celebration of modern and contemporary art. Works from great masters of modern art to the most talented emerging artists are showcased in various fields. Exhibits range from paintings and sculptures to installations, photographs, film, video, digital art, and much more.

Art | Basel not only promotes the local and national art scene but also attracts international attention to the Swiss art scene.
