Aktionstag Arbeit und Ausbildung Werl

The "Action Day Work and Education" is organized by the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung und Stadtentwicklung mbH Werl and their cooperation partners Agentur für Arbeit, Jobcenter Arbeit Hellweg Aktiv (AHA) and the Rotary Club Werl/Westphalia under the motto of "Informing, getting to know each other and building a personal network". The "Aktionstag Arbeit und Ausbildung" hosts several businesses and institutions who present a broad set of jobs requiring apprenticeships, internships, advanced training possibilities, study programs and job openings. Besides the participating regional companies the circle of exhibitors includes business school representatives, authorities, chambers, associations, academies, universities and consultation agencies. The Aktionstag attracts those looking for an apprenticeship or wish to enroll in a study program and their friends, parents and teachers as well as anyone hunting for a job, professional returnees and those looking for advanced training.

Aim of the fair is to offer a centralized marketplace on related information and to act as a shop-window of the regional economy to display opportunities and perspectives as well as the amenities and diversity of a professional future within the region. Visitors get the chance to get to know recruiters, instructors and apprentices personally and to start building a professional network. The fair program is completed by a résumé check, workshops, a craftsmen action parkour, a marketplace for last minute apprenticeships and a spot for current job openings.

The Aktionstag Arbeit und Ausbildung will take place on 2 days from Friday, 30. August to Saturday, 31. August 2024 in Werl.
