Filmkunstmesse Leipzig

The film art fair, which takes place once a year in Leipzig is the only European film exhibition and forum of its kind. Around screenings, panel discussions and seminars, the fair offers a forum for partnership and dialogue between cinema operators, distributors and industry experts for a common discussion about problems and possibilities of the film art market and the development of sustainable strategies for the future. The heart of the exhibition are over 60 film screenings far ahead of the premiere performance in Germany. For each film an extensive exchange in form of moderated discussions between all stakeholders will take place dealing with market positioning, targeting and marketing strategies of the individual films.

Accompanying seminars and workshops on topical issues of the film art market which refer on internet positioning, the situation of independent cinemas in Germany and Europe, and the digital film world will be held at the event location Old Stock Exchange in Leipzig. Important and eagerly awaited highlights of the show are the ceremonies of the film art fair audience price and the kids program price Central Germany.
