The India Security Expo is held annually at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre BCEC of Mumbai. The aim of this international exhibition is the creation of safe and secure environments by minimizing the security risks of modern information societies, such as cyber attacks and terrorism, which have also been identified as a problem of the Indian society. The development is towards smart cities and will be implemented in accordance with the basic principles of Intelligence, Analytics and Mobility. Environmental data is collected by means of surveillance cameras and biometrics. Subsequently, the data volume is analyzed and finally resources are mobilised, which is demonstrated impressively in the form of scenarios and live demonstrations at the India Security Expo. Case studies and innovative solutions are presented in the course of the two-day conference. The Bombay Exhibition Centre is the largest and most important exhibition centre in India. It is strategically located close to the airport and not far away from the city centre. There are some good hotels, shopping centres and tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity.
