Today film lettering is a sophisticated technology that is no longer associated with high costs. Printed plastic films can also be fixed on carrier films to guarantee even gaps between letters. Foil stickers are already producible inexpensively in small quantities as no stencil needs to be produced in contrast to the screen printing. The requested images or letters are directly glued to the surface to be laminated. The film lettering can be used where „manual“ painting or a professional screen print would be too complex or too expensive. The most common film lettering is a promotional car sticker. But it is also widely used at trade fair construction as booth lettering or at shop building and for signposting in buildings.
