The Raesfeld Advent Market, a gem in the Münsterland, takes place annually on the second weekend of Advent, from Thursday to Sunday. Located in the Hohe Mark Nature Park, the Raesfeld Water Castle, a historical site dating back to the 12th century, provides a picturesque backdrop for this special Christmas market. The organizer, Ortsmarketing Raesfeld e.V, has managed to create an atmosphere that is both traditional and unique.

What sets the Raesfeld Advent Market apart are the about 80 market stalls that harmoniously extend around the water castle. Here, visitors find a diverse selection of products: from nativity scenes and jewelry to art and paintings. Local gastronomy offers traditional delicacies like roasted meats, pastries, punch, mulled wine, crepes, and sausages for physical well-being.
