Advertising trade fairs differ from other trade fairs in that they offer a platform for advertising material manufacturers, advertisers, and agencies. Advertising fairs are also known as marketing fairs or promotion fairs. Standing displays, billboards, roll-up displays, pop-up stands, banners, flags, or giveaways are often found, which are intended to help spread the brand and attract customers. At many fairs there are also interactive elements available to visitors, such as games, touch screens or quizzes. The world's most important and well-known advertising trade fairs are Advertising Week in New York, DMEXCO in Cologne, SXSW in Austin, Texas, Advertising & Media Summit in Dubai, AdTech in London and Advertising Week Europe in Berlin.
