Africa Sourcing & Fashion Week (ASFW) Addis Ababa

The Africa Sourcing & Fashion Week (ASFW) is a globally recognized trade fair that focuses on fashion and fashion accessories, sourcing, machinery, home déco, beauty, and services. It was initiated by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and has since its inception become one of the most important events in the industry. The ASFW takes place annually at the Congress Center of the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The fair is divided into three main thematic areas: the processing of textiles and flexible materials, the sourcing of clothing and fashion accessories, and an emphasis on innovative and creative fabrics and materials, with a particular focus on ready-to-wear fashion. Exhibitors from various sectors such as garment manufacturing, textile processing, and fashion accessory production present their latest products and services. Additionally, they provide insights into innovative techniques and services for the production and processing of textiles. The ASFW is known for its diverse attractions, including fashion shows, award ceremonies, and competitions. It also facilitates networking events that allow participants to establish connections in the industry and discover new business opportunities. The main visitors to the ASFW are professionals from the fashion and textile industry, including designers, buyers, manufacturers, and retailers.
