BIO ÖSTERREICH is Austria’s leading trade fair dedicated to the organic lifestyle in all its facets and with remarkable depth. The name stands not only for organic products from Austria, but also for a shared commitment to ecological responsibility, sustainable consumption, and regional value creation – a concept that is brought to life across all areas of the fair. The event is organized by Messe Wieselburg GmbH and takes place annually in the autumn at the traditional exhibition grounds in Wieselburg, Lower Austria. Since its debut in 2015, BIO ÖSTERREICH has become a key meeting point for the organic industry.

A particular highlight is the award for "Organic Product of the Year" prominently featured on the so-called "Winners' Boulevard". Another coveted recognition is the Innovation Award "The Golden Honeycomb", which honors outstanding achievements in organic production.
