BIOEM, short for BIO.ENERGY.FAIR, is an annual event held in Großschönau since 1985. Organized by TDW Großschönau, it draws thousands of visitors and exhibitors each year on Corpus Christi to its 18,000 square meter fairgrounds at Sonnenplatz.
As a central platform for sustainable living, BIOEM showcases innovative products, services, and ideas dedicated to vital future topics. The fair focuses on themes such as energy and storage, construction & renovation, living & security, nature & garden, wellness & health, and electromobility, with a special emphasis on regional energy security.
A highlight of BIOEM is the personal and expert advice offered by exhibitors. The extensive supporting program provides entertainment for all age groups, including expert talks and special family-oriented activities like an energy adventure playground.
