The travel trade fair Balttour is the leading tourism industry event in the Baltic States. It is a meeting place for tourism professionals who want to present travel itineraries and destinations, search for new cooperation partners and look for an opportunity to conclude good deals with clients. Among exhibitors are hoteliers, tourism organisations, agencies, transport companies and tour operators. The exposition is divided in two thematically different parts — one for the offer of Latvia’s districts and cities, the other for international and national displays, tour operators, hotels, tourism organisations, agencies, transport service and financial service providers. Balttour also includes various conferences, seminars and competitions.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 31. January to 02. February 2020, about 850 exhibitors and 28364 visitors on the Balttour in Riga.
