ESXENCE Milan

Founded in 2009, ESXENCE – The Art Perfumery Event has established itself as the world’s leading trade fair for artistic perfumery and is widely regarded as the international hub of the Artistic Perfumery movement. Once a year, the Allianz MiCo – Milano Convention Centre in Milan becomes a global meeting place for fragrance culture, innovation and international networking.

The exhibition is organised by EQUIPE Exibit Srl, an Italian trade fair organiser specialising in high-end B2B formats with a focus on niche markets and creative industries. With its rigorously curated concept, ESXENCE positions itself not as a conventional consumer goods fair, but as an exclusive platform for independent fragrance houses, perfumers, essence suppliers, packaging designers and distributors from around the world. The showcase spans artisanal niche fragrances, limited editions and innovative scent compositions, alongside premium raw materials and complementary services – from distribution and brand development to fragrance consultancy and olfactory storytelling.

Quality, authenticity and creative excellence are at the heart of the event. Each year, ESXENCE adopts an overarching theme – such as “Masters of Dreams” – framing perfume as a cultural expression situated between tradition, research and avant-garde creativity. Workshops, panel discussions, brand talks and expert presentations explore current developments in olfactory aesthetics, raw material innovation and market dynamics.

Exhibitors primarily represent the niche and luxury perfumery sectors, as well as cosmetics, fragrance ingredients, packaging design, retail and distribution. Admission is reserved for trade professionals and selected private visitors, creating a distinctive blend of business platform and cultural exchange.
