FAIR Friends Dortmund

FAIR Friends, held in the dynamic city of Dortmund, is Germany's largest sustainability event. Since its inception, the fair has become a leading platform for fairness, sustainability, and social responsibility. Its aim is to foster awareness of fair trade and sustainable products. The name itself signifies its essence: "Fair" alludes to fair trade and ethical practices, while "Friends" represents the communal endeavor towards a more sustainable future. Hosted at the Dortmund Exhibition Center and managed by Messe Dortmund GmbH, the event takes place annually, typically in late August or early September. The fair revolves around three core themes: "Sustainable Lifestyles," "Fair Trade," and "Social Responsibility." Beyond the standard Fairtrade offerings like coffee, tea, and chocolate, the event also highlights innovative products, including clothing, flowers, cosmetics, and wood. Special exhibitions, which vary throughout the event, introduce groundbreaking products. Both individual consumers and industry professionals frequent the fair, making it a prime venue for knowledge sharing and networking.
