FORLENER is Italy’s leading and only specialized trade fair dedicated to forestry, wood energy, and biomass. Since its inception in 2001, it has established itself as an essential platform for industry professionals, companies, and interested visitors. Held every two years at the modern Lariofiere exhibition center in Erba, Northern Italy, the event benefits from its scenic setting between Lake Como and the foothills of the Alps. The venue offers a well-developed infrastructure and an inspiring environment for innovation, networking, and business opportunities.

Organized by Paulownia Italia S.r.l., an experienced specialist in thematic trade fairs, FORLENER derives its name from the Italian words Foresta (forest), Legno (wood), and Energia (energy). This name aptly reflects the fair’s comprehensive focus on the entire value chain—from sustainable forest management to the energetic use of wood and other biomass sources.
