FoodPack China Shanghai

FoodPack China is an annual trade fair and a key meeting point for the food processing and packaging industry. Since its launch in 2001, it has provided professionals from around the world with a specialized platform to discover the latest technologies, innovative solutions, and emerging industry trends. Access is restricted to trade visitors only, ensuring high-quality dialogue and targeted networking opportunities.

The trade fair is organized by the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association in cooperation with the Shanghai China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association. Both organizations have many years of experience in the Asian food and packaging technology sector and combine in-depth market knowledge with international trade fair expertise. The result is an event that not only informs but also provides groundbreaking impulses for the further development of the industry.

The focus is on innovations in food processing and packaging technology. Exhibits include state-of-the-art packaging machinery, automated solutions, sustainable materials, and quality assurance systems. Forward-looking themes such as Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and sensor technologies play a central role, reflecting the ongoing technological transformation in manufacturing. Environmental concerns are also addressed through circular economy concepts, innovative recycling processes, and the use of compostable and bio-based packaging materials.

The exhibition covers the entire spectrum of the industry—from aseptic beverage packaging and solutions for convenience products to packaging design, printing technologies, and consulting services. A major added value is the partnership with ProPak China, established in 2019, which has expanded and integrated the exhibition portfolio.

The venue is the National Convention & Exhibition Center (NECC) in Shanghai—one of the largest and most modern exhibition centers in Asia. It is well-connected to the city’s metro network and located near Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
