HOFEX is one of Asia’s most prominent and long-established trade fairs for food, beverages, and the hospitality industry. Since its launch in 1988, it has taken place every two years at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre—a modern venue located on Victoria Harbour, known for its impressive architecture and state-of-the-art facilities that provide an ideal setting for international exhibitions. The event is organized by Informa Markets, a global leader in trade shows and B2B events, with a portfolio of over 500 events across approximately 40 countries.

Short for “Hospitality and Food Exhibition”, HOFEX is exclusively open to trade professionals. It serves as a central platform for hoteliers, restaurateurs, specialty retailers, investors, and key decision-makers in the food and hospitality sectors. The exhibition covers a broad range of topics aligned with current industry trends. Its core focus includes premium food and beverages—such as gourmet products, baked goods, confectionery, coffee, tea, wine, and spirits—as well as kitchen technology, packaging solutions, tableware, serviceware, and innovative hospitality technologies.
