Hydrogen Americas National Harbor

Since its founding in 2022, Hydrogen Americas has served as the central platform for the entire hydrogen industry across the American continent. The event takes place annually at rotating locations throughout the United States. The name “Hydrogen Americas” represents not only the industry event itself but also the ambition to advance the development of hydrogen as an energy carrier throughout North and South America. The exhibition is organized by Reed Exhibitions Ltd. in close collaboration with leading institutions such as the Sustainable Energy Council (SEC) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), both of which possess extensive experience in implementing energy projects and shaping policy frameworks.

Hydrogen Americas focuses on current topics that are shaping the global hydrogen sector. Key themes include the role of hydrogen in the future energy mix, political and regulatory developments such as the Inflation Reduction Act or national strategies of major countries, new financing and development models, technological advancements such as the construction of gigafactories for electrolyzers, and solutions for infrastructure and logistics. The development of e-fuels and hydrogen derivatives, the targeted use of CO₂ capture, and the integration of hydrogen into energy-intensive industries are also central subjects.
