INC art Fair Bodensee Dornbirn

Founded in 2024, INC art fair Bodensee is an annual public art fair dedicated to international contemporary art, held at Messe Dornbirn in Vorarlberg, Austria. It positions itself as a modern alternative to the traditional gallery-led art fair. Rather than focusing exclusively on galleries, the fair places particular emphasis on artists, giving them the opportunity to present their work directly to a broad audience without intermediaries. Galleries, art projects and cultural institutions complement the programme, creating an open platform for direct exchange between artists, art-market professionals and visitors.

INC art fair Bodensee is organised by Munich-based Intoxicated Demons GmbH, which has many years of experience in organising art events.

The fair takes place once a year in autumn, usually in November, and runs for three days from Friday to Sunday. Its programme focuses on current developments in contemporary art, bringing together art, culture and lifestyle. Exhibits include painting, sculpture and photography, alongside a range of other contemporary art forms. At the heart of the fair are the artworks themselves, many of which are available for purchase. The event also provides opportunities for artistic presentation and engagement, personal interaction and professional networking. One of its defining features is the opportunity for visitors to engage directly with the artists themselves, distinguishing INC art fair from more traditional, gallery-centred art fairs.

Exhibitors are drawn primarily from the arts and cultural sector and include independent artists, galleries, art projects, platforms and cultural institutions. The fair caters both to the general art-loving public and to collectors, gallerists, curators, art dealers, representatives of cultural institutions and other art-market professionals. At the same time, it provides a platform for emerging talent and artistic practices operating outside established galleries and auction houses.

A key feature of INC art fair Bodensee is the opportunity to meet a wide range of artists in person and discover their work first-hand. The fair’s open format, together with its combination of established artistic practices and work presented outside conventional gallery structures, helps define its distinctive character.

Messe Dornbirn provides INC art fair Bodensee with a professional venue in Vorarlberg and a strategically convenient location for visitors from Austria and the neighbouring countries of Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Its cross-border location in the Lake Constance region gives the fair an international reach, establishing Dornbirn as an annual meeting place for artists, art-market professionals and art enthusiasts.

The INC art Fair Bodensee will take place on 3 days from Friday, 20. November to Sunday, 22. November 2026 in Dornbirn.
