INLEGMASH Moscow

INLEGMASH is an international trade fair showcasing equipment, machinery and technologies for the textile and garment manufacturing industry. Since its inception in 1970, it has served as a key platform for innovation, professional exchange and technological advancement within the light industry sector. The name INLEGMASH is derived from the Russian abbreviation for Индустрия лёгкой машиностроительной техники, which translates as machinery for the light industry.

Held annually at the Timiryazev Exhibition Centre in Moscow, the fair forms part of the Russian Textile Industry Week, which brings together the industry’s leading events. It is organised by Expocentre AO in cooperation with the Russian business association Souzlegprom, lending the event strong institutional ties to national industrial policy.

INLEGMASH is tailored to professionals seeking the latest developments in textile manufacturing technology. The exhibition covers specialised solutions across the entire textile value chain – from raw material processing through to production and packaging. Exhibits range from machinery for processing natural and synthetic fibres to state-of-the-art spinning, weaving and knitting machines, as well as equipment for sewing, textile finishing and printing. A particular strength lies in the integration of traditional mechanical engineering with cutting-edge technologies such as automated production systems, CAD/CAE/CAM software, ERP and MES solutions, and digital tools for production control and efficiency optimisation.

In addition to machinery, the fair also features textile chemicals, dyes, additives, accessories, spare parts, and packaging and logistics solutions tailored to the textile industry. A prominent focus is placed on technical textiles and nonwovens – a segment that not only showcases specialised manufacturing technologies, but also highlights emerging application areas and innovation potential.

The exhibition is complemented by a wide-ranging programme of expert conferences, forums and business dialogues, creating a platform for discussions on digitalisation, process optimisation, modernisation and investment.

INLEGMASH attracts a highly qualified international audience, including engineers, production managers, developers, buyers and decision-makers from the textile, fashion, automotive, aerospace, medical and construction industries. Exhibitors predominantly come from the mechanical engineering, automation, IT and chemical sectors.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 11. March to 14. March 2024, about 161 exhibitors from 11 countries and 8182 visitors on the INLEGMASH in Moscow.
