LAND FORST JAGD Wieselburg is an annual trade and public fair and ranks among the key industry meeting points for hunting as well as agriculture and forestry in Lower Austria. It is organised by Messe Wieselburg GmbH at the modern Wieselburg Exhibition Centre, which is centrally located in the heart of Lower Austria and therefore easily accessible for both national and international exhibitors and trade visitors. The fair offers an exceptionally broad yet highly sector-specific range of topics. Alongside its professional focus, the fair also offers a diverse range of experiences. In the interactive “Wild.Live! Mobile” area, families and children can discover native wildlife and plant life. The “Hunting” zone provides fascinating insights into modern hunting equipment, wildlife observation and game management. Film screenings in cooperation with Wildfilm Austria offer additional perspectives on animal behaviour and contemporary hunting practice.

A technical highlight is the Live Test Centre, where visitors can try out tractors, ATVs and other agricultural machinery directly on site. A major crowd-puller is the Eurojack – a spectacular timber sports competition featuring disciplines such as sawing, chopping and climbing, which attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The extensive professional programme is rounded off by a family-friendly supporting line-up: in the Children’s Experience Hall, agricultural knowledge is conveyed in a playful way, while live cookery shows – including the AMA Grill Show – showcase regional products in an enjoyable and engaging manner. Music and cabaret evenings with performers such as Petutschnig Hons provide additional entertainment.
