Meet & Match Villach

Meet & Match is an annual career fair launched in 2011 by Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS). Since its inception, it has established itself as a key career event in southern Austria. The name symbolizes the event’s mission: to connect people with opportunities – “Meet” for personal interaction and “Match” for the perfect pairing of talent and companies.

The fair takes place at the CUAS Campus in Villach – a modern facility in an idyllic location with excellent transport connections. Each year, it attracts several hundred visitors, including students, school pupils, and young professionals from across the region.

The event is organized by CUAS, a non-profit private foundation known for its practice-oriented education in the fields of Engineering, Business & Management, Health & Social Sciences, as well as Civil Engineering & Architecture.

Meet & Match serves as a platform for career orientation and personal development. It facilitates direct contact between companies and potential professionals, offers hands-on information about job openings, internships, thesis opportunities, or part-time jobs, and creates space for individual career advice.

Numerous regional and international companies exhibit at the fair, showcasing their fields of activity and informing attendees about entry-level opportunities. This creates valuable networking and career positioning prospects for visitors.

The fair is complemented by a range of support services, including free professional application photos, CV checks by HR experts, and career counseling – also tailored specifically to international students. In the "Study Lounge" at the Audimax, visitors can explore CUAS’s study programs, the continuing education offerings of the FH Academy, and the orientation year studyXplore.

The event highlights both the strong ties to the regional economy and its international focus. It showcases the potential of the southern Austrian job market – dynamic, diverse, and future-oriented.
