Modellbau Schleswig-Holstein is a unique event that takes place every year in March in the Holstenhallen in Neumünster. The fair is organized by the OVG Ochtruper Veranstaltungs GmbH and offers a wide range of model railways, model cars and functional model construction. At the fair, visitors can admire many model railway layouts from Germany and abroad, which have been created in many common gauges. Another highlight of the consumer fair is the large marketplace for new and used models, where visitors can find more than thirty large and well-known dealers and a few private individuals from all over Germany who offer a worth seeing range of model railways, model cars and accessories, building blocks, drones and related products offer.

In addition, there are also a variety of shows and exhibitions at the fair, an exhibition of historical articles, plastic and cardboard model making, fair and building kit model making, remote control agricultural models, car exhibitions and much more. A special highlight are the drifters, who drive roadworthy, souped-up passenger and racing cars on a scale of 1:10.
