SWOP Shanghai

SWOP, officially known as 'Shanghai World of Packaging', is an international trade fair focusing on the processing and packaging industry. This biennial event is organized by Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai Co., Ltd. and takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), the second-largest exhibition center in China. SNIEC is conveniently located near the Pudong Airport and is accessible by various modes of public transport, including the impressive maglev train.

The SWOP fair provides a comprehensive platform that covers eight core product areas: food, beverages, confectionery, baked goods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, non-food consumer goods, and industrial goods. It highlights key packaging trends and offers insights into the future of the industry, with a special focus on the 'SAVE FOOD' campaign.
