The TABEXPO is an international trade fair for the tobacco industry, held every four years at changing locations in Europe since its founding in 1994. The fair is organized by Quartz Business Media Ltd., an experienced organizer of international trade fairs and conferences. The TABEXPO caters to professional visitors from the entire tobacco sector and presents a wide range of products and services, covering the entire value chain of the tobacco industry. These include, among others, tobacco products, packaging solutions, machinery and equipment, logistics and distribution, as well as research and development. Products and services from various sectors within the tobacco industry are presented. A focus of the fair is on innovations and technologies for improving production processes, environmental friendliness, and sustainability in the tobacco industry. Various tobacco products, such as cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, snuff, smokeless tobacco, and e-cigarettes, are showcased at the fair. Manufacturers of machinery and equipment for tobacco production, processing, and packaging present their technologies and solutions. Providers of packaging materials, packaging design, and technologies showcase their latest products and innovations. Research institutes and companies involved in the development of new tobacco products, technologies, and production processes offer insights into their work and current research results. Highlights of the TABEXPO include expert lectures and panel discussions, allowing participants to exchange information on current industry topics. Over the years, the fair has established itself as one of the most significant events in the tobacco industry, attracting visitors and exhibitors from around the world.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 20. October to 23. October 2015, about 200 exhibitors from 93 countries and 4000 visitors on the TABEXPO in London.
