Launched in 2023, Texworld Los Angeles is a pioneering trade fair for the textile and apparel industry. Held annually at the California Market Center in the heart of Los Angeles, the event brings together global industry players in a vibrant and forward-looking setting. The name "Texworld" is derived from the English words “Textile” and “World”, underscoring its international focus and commitment to uniting the global textile community on one platform. The show is organized by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, one of the world’s leading organizers of international trade fairs. Texworld Los Angeles is part of the global Texworld Evolution platform, which showcases textile innovations and sustainable developments at key international locations.
More than just a trade fair, Texworld Los Angeles serves as a dynamic meeting point for fresh ideas, advanced materials, and the latest trends in design, functionality, and sustainability. The spotlight is on high-quality, eco-friendly textiles and cutting-edge technologies. Designers, product developers, and buyers gain direct access to future-oriented solutions that shape their collections. A key theme is "Econogy" – the intersection of ecology and economy – with a strong emphasis on recycled materials, circular production processes, and bio-based textile innovations.
The product range spans from traditional fabrics such as silk, wool, linen, and denim to technical textiles, performance fabrics, faux fur, embroidery, accessories, and fibers. Notable highlights include the curated Trend Showcase, which offers insights into seasonal color directions and material innovations, and the Innovation Hub, where high-tech fabrics and smart coatings take center stage. The “Deadstock” area presents a sustainable and economically viable alternative to new production by making surplus fabrics from existing collections available for reuse.
The exhibition experience is enriched by the Textile Talks – a premium educational format featuring expert discussions and presentations on topics such as sustainable sourcing, digital supply chains, local production models, and global market trends.
Exhibitors represent a wide range of sectors from across the global textile and fashion industries – including fabric manufacturers, suppliers, and technology providers. The main audience consists of designers, brand representatives, buyers, and key decision-makers in the apparel sector. This makes Texworld Los Angeles a highly specialized platform for direct exchange between creative visionaries and industrial innovators.
As a vibrant hub of fashion, lifestyle, and innovation, Los Angeles offers the ideal backdrop for this international event. Centrally located in Downtown LA, the California Market Center impresses not only with its contemporary architecture but also with its convenient accessibility by public transportation, car, and air travel.
Texworld Los Angeles is where the future of textiles becomes tangible – thoughtful, relevant, and inspiring.
The Texworld takes place annually, and therefore for the fourth time previsibly in July 2026 in Los Angeles.
