The "denkmal" in Leipzig will take place every two years and is open to the general public. This fair is Europe's only fair that understands and treats conservation and restoration as a complex issue. Here you will find information, products and services related to the topics of historic preservation, renovation, restoration and modernization. With the "denkmal", the fair of Leipzig contributes to merge the building industry, industrial companies, craftsmen, restorers, architects, engineers, planners, conservationists, investors, developers, local politicians and owners of historic buildings.

An important topic is the area for young visitors, that means for the young people of that industry and prospective trade visitors, as trainees, students and young people. The complete offer include specifically career guidance, job descriptions, information on education and training but also career start, job search and potential employers. The focus is been laid on the practical work, the material and its processing, not on the theory. In conjunction with the denkmal the international cooperation forum "contact denkmal" will take place. The aim is to connect companies which have planned projects and therefore are looking for craftsmen, restorers, related products or services with the market supply and thus to initiate collaborations and to build qualitative long-term business contacts.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 10. November to 12. November 2016, about 435 exhibitors from 17 countries and 13900 visitors on the denkmal in Leipzig.

The denkmal will take place on 3 days from Thursday, 07. November to Saturday, 09. November 2024 in Leipzig.
