Simac Tanning Tech is an international event that takes place in Milan presenting the best technologies and machinery for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries. The fair is considered as the main representative fair of the leather processing, footwear and tanning industries. Inside the two exhibition halls there is the possibility of experiencing many types of machinery in operation. Simac Tanning Tech will be held inside the traditional pavilions of Fiera Milano Rho and during the week in which the concomitant events of the finished fashion product such as footwear, leather, leather goods ad fur will take place.

Simac Tanning Tech has been held annually since its foundation in 1973 and it presents the most important manufacturers of machines for shoe making, leather goods and tanning, chemical products, laboratory equipment and consumables. Opened in 2005, Fiera Milano Rho is a fairground complex located in an area bordering the towns of Rho and Pero. The Fiera Milano Rho site is mainly used for industrial fairs.
