vocatium Neu-Ulm

The vocatium Ulm/Neu-Ulm is an annual career fair designed to inform and advise students, apprentices, and individuals interested in further studies about educational opportunities. The fair is organized by the Institute for Talent Development (IfT), which has specialized in career guidance and continuing education since its establishment in 2008. It takes place in the renowned ratiopharm arena in Neu-Ulm, conveniently accessible both by public transportation and by car. The venue is situated just five kilometers from Ulm Central Station, well connected to regional and national railway lines.

The fair emphasizes vocational training opportunities and dual-degree programs, which effectively combine practical experience with academic studies. Additionally, universities, colleges, and academies offer comprehensive consultations on bachelor's and master's degree programs. Students can schedule individual meetings in advance, enabling targeted conversations with preferred employers. The event also includes spontaneous discussions, hands-on company presentations, and workshops addressing essential topics such as applications, interviews, assessment centers, internships, and voluntary services.

Exhibitors include regional institutions such as the Chamber of Crafts, Chamber of Commerce (IHK), city administration, and the police department, alongside national companies, presenting a wide array of career opportunities. Important contemporary fields like digitalization, IT, technology, and sustainability are highlighted to prepare young individuals effectively for modern workplace demands.

Innovative formats, such as speed dating between candidates and potential employers or educational institutions, enrich the vocatium experience by enabling efficient networking and facilitating quick connections. Since its inception in 2008, vocatium Ulm/Neu-Ulm has become a significant meeting point for youth and employers, forming part of a nationwide network spanning over 80 locations that successfully provides individualized career and educational guidance.
