Agra Gornja Radgona

The Agra Fair is an internationally renowned trade fair for agricultural products and food, founded in 1962. It takes place annually at the Pomurski Sejem, an exhibition center in the Slovenian city of Gornja Radgona. The fair is organized by Pomurski sejem d.d., a respected company specializing in the organization of trade fairs. The main themes of the fair range from the food industry, including meat, fish and dairy products, oils and fats, spices, juices and mineral water, dietary supplements, and catering machines, the agricultural industry, to packaging and logistics. This includes packaging of all kinds, packaging materials and techniques, labeling systems, and storage technology and transport technology. In addition, special exhibitions of regional agricultural products and food are offered. This offers exhibitors the opportunity to present their products and services to a broad professional audience and to establish international business contacts. The highlights of the fair include the animal show, the grain exhibition, the biodynamic garden, and the timber auction. In addition, exhibitions of wines, fruit juices, honey, and meat and dairy products are organized. The program is supplemented by expert lectures, workshops, seminars, forums, and roundtables. The exhibitors are mainly from the food and agricultural sectors, but areas such as packaging and logistics are also represented. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 6 days of the fair, from 26. August to 31. August 2023, about 1700 exhibitors from 35 countries and 105000 visitors on the Agra in Gornja Radgona.
