HANDWERK Wels

The HANDWERK trade fair in Wels is the premier platform for carpenters, timber construction professionals, painters, and experts in the tools and hardware industry. Organized by Messe Wels GmbH, it offers professionals the opportunity to stay informed about the latest technologies, trends, and materials. The event is held biennially. Between 2019 and 2025, it was put on hold to further refine its concept and better align with the needs of exhibitors and visitors.

As a trade-only event, HANDWERK is exclusively aimed at a professional audience seeking innovative solutions, high-quality tools, and efficient operational resources. The fair focuses on key sectors such as carpentry and timber construction, metalworking, tools, occupational safety and workwear, as well as paints, coatings, and chemical-technical products. Exhibits range from state-of-the-art machinery, extraction systems, and panel saws to advanced tools, grinding and welding technology, and specialized coatings, paints, and adhesives.

A particular highlight of the event is the Future Lab, a dedicated platform showcasing the digital future of skilled trades. Here, groundbreaking technologies such as 3D printing, CNC machines, and laser engraving demonstrate how digitalization is transforming traditional work processes.
