The Südwest Messe in Villingen-Schwenningen, founded in 1950, is one of the largest regional trade fairs in Southern Germany and takes place annually at the exhibition center in Villingen-Schwenningen. Organized by SMA Südwest Messe- und Ausstellungs-GmbH, it attracts a large number of visitors. The fair covers a wide range of topics and showcases products and services from almost every aspect of life, from leisure and professional activities to household, hobby, and craftwork. Exhibitors present their latest innovations in numerous exhibition halls and on an extensive open-air grounds, allowing visitors to not only view these products but also to try them out and purchase them directly.
