SIL Barcelona

SIL Barcelona (International Logistics Exhibition) is an annual trade fair that, since its inception in 1998, has become one of the most important events for logistics, transport, intralogistics, and supply chain management in Southern Europe. It takes place at Fira de Barcelona, one of Europe’s leading exhibition centers, centrally located in the economically vibrant city of Barcelona. The event is organized by Consorci ZF Internacional, S.A.U., an institution closely associated with the development of Barcelona’s Free Trade Zone and the promotion of forward-looking economic concepts.

Once a year, SIL Barcelona opens its doors to an international audience of industry professionals seeking innovative solutions across the entire logistics value chain.

The exhibition addresses a broad range of current topics – from warehouse automation and transport solutions to digital transformation, sustainable logistics strategies, and new approaches to last-mile delivery. Real estate solutions for logistics purposes and the expansion of infrastructure, such as ports, airports, and multimodal transport connections, are also firmly embedded in the exhibition’s profile. Additionally, the recruitment and retention of skilled professionals is gaining importance as the industry faces increasing labor shortages.

The offerings span from state-of-the-art intralogistics systems and software solutions to AI-powered process optimizations and digital platforms for data management, route planning, and shipment tracking. A key feature is the Startup Innovation Hub – a platform for young companies with pioneering ideas, where they can engage directly with investors, partners, and potential clients. The event is further enriched by the SIL Knowledge Program, an international congress featuring over 400 speakers and regarded as a think tank for the logistics of the future.

With more than 650 exhibiting companies from diverse sectors – including industry, commerce, transport, real estate, IT, and environmental technology – and visitors from over 90 countries, SIL Barcelona is not only a showcase for innovation but also a top-tier platform for business exchange and strategic networking. The target audience includes professionals and executives in procurement, logistics, supply chain management, operations, technology, and corporate governance.

Thanks to its excellent location – close to Barcelona’s international airport El Prat and well connected to the public transport network – Fira de Barcelona is easily accessible. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 07. June to 09. June 2023, about 650 exhibitors and 15253 visitors on the SIL in Barcelona.
