SITEM Paris

SITEM – the Salon International des Technologies de l’Exposition et du Musée – is an internationally oriented trade fair dedicated to decision-makers and practitioners from museums, cultural institutions, and the heritage and tourism sectors. Once a year, the Carrousel du Louvre in the heart of Paris becomes a meeting place for the European and international cultural community.

SITEM is organised by Museumexperts – Groupe Beaux Arts & Cie, a well-established provider of professional events and publications in the cultural sector. The fair brings together exhibitions, conferences, workshops and live demonstrations in a compact, highly specialised format. Its focus is firmly on the practical challenges facing museums and cultural organisations today. The thematic scope ranges from digital solutions such as visitor guidance systems, immersive media, audioguides and AI-supported collections management to exhibition design, scenography, lighting, security and conservation, as well as issues of environmental transformation, sustainable design and inclusive cultural practice.

What sets SITEM apart is its strong emphasis on real-world application. Case studies, proven projects and hands-on workshops demonstrate how technological innovations can be implemented in everyday museum and cultural operations – for example to improve visitor flow management, reach new audiences or develop resource-efficient exhibition concepts. The programme is complemented by discussion forums addressing cultural policy strategies, international cooperation and digital communication.

Exhibitors represent a wide range of fields, including museum technology, media technology, architecture and scenography, lighting and audio technology, IT and software, security, conservation, interpretation and cultural management. This year the SITEM takes place on 2 days from Wed., 25.03.2026 to Thur., 26.03.2026 in Paris already for the 30th time.
