i-Mobility Stuttgart

i-Mobility is Southern Germany’s leading public trade fair for sustainable, intelligent, and future-oriented mobility. It takes place annually at Messe Stuttgart – one of Europe’s most modern and best-connected exhibition centers, located directly next to the airport and served by its own S-Bahn station.

The event is organized by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH in close cooperation with the Ministry of Transport of Baden-Württemberg, e-mobil BW, ADAC Württemberg, and additional partners from industry and research. As a so-called TESTiVENT, i-Mobility combines a traditional exhibition format with hands-on experiences. Visitors can not only learn about alternative drive systems but also test them on site – including electric cars, hydrogen vehicles, e-bikes, pedelecs, e-scooters, and electric commercial vehicles.

The focus is on pressing topics such as the transition to climate-friendly mobility, the development of digital infrastructure, urban logistics concepts, and the integration of smart technologies into daily life and cityscapes. Highlights include extensive test tracks covering more than 1,200 m², the realistic ADAC rollover simulator, and a wide range of live demonstrations and expert talks. The event is tailored to municipal decision-makers, technology enthusiasts, and industry professionals alike.

i-Mobility showcases innovative solutions across the entire mobility spectrum – from connected driving and smart city strategies to digital charging infrastructure and sharing services. Exhibitors represent sectors including the automotive industry, e-mobility, energy, research, IT, urban planning, logistics, and public transportation. The fair targets a broad audience: private consumers, companies, municipal representatives, urban developers, planners, and professionals from government, engineering, and science.

A key feature is the “Municipalities Day”, where representatives from cities, towns, and districts discuss practical challenges such as fleet electrification, charging infrastructure expansion, and efficient land use. Keynotes, panel discussions, and real-world case studies provide a valuable platform for networking and knowledge exchange.

Messe Stuttgart, conveniently located on the A8 motorway, is easily accessible by car and public transport via S-Bahn lines S2 and S3.
