The Diepholz Career Fair is an annual public event focused on career orientation and planning for young people—especially school students, university students, and those starting their careers. As a central platform in the Diepholz region, it connects aspiring talents directly with training companies, institutions, and universities. The fair is organized by KURSZukunft GmbH & Co. KG in close cooperation with regional partners and under the operational management of BD Schwenker GmbH & Co. KG. The venue is a spacious marquee set up in the heart of Diepholz’s marketplace—centrally located, easily accessible, and a visible part of the cityscape.

The fair stands out with its well-structured and practice-oriented concept. It focuses on providing information about apprenticeships, dual study programs, and internship opportunities. The goal is to ease the transition from school to the professional world and to highlight individual career paths. Over 90 exhibitors—including companies, institutions, and educational establishments—present themselves in an open and authentic manner. A particularly valuable feature is the opportunity for direct interaction with current apprentices and HR representatives, offering realistic insights into various professions and fostering genuine, face-to-face conversations.

A key feature is the virtual fair platform, which goes live two months before the event and remains accessible afterward. It supports both the preparation and follow-up of the fair visit and allows visitors to explore exhibitors and their offerings anytime and from anywhere.

A diverse stage program with panel discussions and workshops further enriches the event by providing practical insights. Topics such as modern application strategies, employer expectations for future employees, and current trends in the job market are professionally presented and discussed.
