Food Packaging Expo Nadarzyn

The Food Packaging Expo is a specialist trade fair dedicated to modern packaging solutions for the food industry and is open exclusively to trade visitors. It covers the entire food packaging value chain, from packaging materials and ready-to-use packaging to machinery and automated production processes, quality control, product protection and sustainable circular economy solutions.

The event takes place at PTAK Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw, and is organised by Ptak Warsaw Expo Sp. z o.o. The exhibition centre is one of Poland’s leading venues for international trade fairs and regularly hosts a wide range of industry-specific events.

The Food Packaging Expo focuses on key areas of modern food packaging, including packaging and materials, ready-to-use packaging, packaging machinery and automation, safety and quality control, traceability and smart packaging, as well as technologies for extending shelf life and protecting products. The requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the transition towards a functioning circular economy are also becoming increasingly important. A key feature of the programme is the industry conference for food manufacturers and producers of ready-to-use packaging. It focuses on specific commercial and technical challenges facing the sector, including how to extend product shelf life safely and improve the efficiency of packaging processes. Another major topic is how existing packaging portfolios can be adapted to meet PPWR requirements without unnecessarily compromising product profitability.
