Karriere-Kontakte Regensburg

The annual “Karriere-Kontakte” careers fair, held on the campus of the University of Regensburg, aims to bridge the gap between academia and the labour market. It provides a platform for direct exchange between industry and the academic community.

The fair takes place across several university buildings, including the Audimax, the Faculty of Business, Economics and Management Information Systems foyer, and the Sammelgebäude. Whether students are seeking initial career guidance or looking for an internship, a dissertation topic, or a graduate entry role, “Karriere-Kontakte” brings them together with employers at an early stage in a relaxed, on-campus setting. For several years now, the careers fair has been open to all students at the University of Regensburg. It offers both national and international companies from a wide range of sectors, as well as public institutions, the opportunity to showcase themselves and demonstrate that they provide attractive career opportunities for academically trained young professionals.

Even before the fair, students have the opportunity to prepare for the application process. The Marketing and Career Service (MCS), which organises the event, offers a comprehensive programme of support covering applications and professional presentation. And, of course, refreshments are provided throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and coffee with cake.
