AMERICANA is Europe’s largest and most prestigious trade and experience fair for Western riding and recreational equestrian sports. Since its founding in 1986, it has stood for authenticity and tradition, inspired by the American origins of Western riding. Every two years in September, the event opens its doors at the modern exhibition center in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance, easily accessible both nationally and internationally. Organized by Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH, the fair provides a diverse platform for equestrian enthusiasts, riders, breeders, service providers, and industry innovators, all backed by expertise and commitment.

AMERICANA is characterized by its thematic diversity and high degree of specialization. Visitors experience the entire spectrum of Western riding, ranging from international sporting competitions and health and training forums to innovations in stable construction, investment goods, horse trailers, and towing vehicles. Lifestyle and start-up areas further enrich the offering. Highlights include top-level riding competitions in more than 50 disciplines, such as reining, cutting, or ranch riding, along with atmospheric evening shows in the renowned show arena. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 5 days of the fair, from 04. September to 08. September 2019, about 327 exhibitors from 14 countries and 52700 visitors on the AMERICANA in Augsburg.
