The Luft & Liebe® Wedding Festival Augsburg is a contemporary consumer event dedicated to bespoke, high-quality and design-led wedding planning. Unlike conventional wedding fairs, it is conceived as a curated wedding festival with a particular emphasis on aesthetics, quality, craftsmanship and personalised advice.

In Augsburg, the Luft & Liebe® Wedding Festival takes place at Depot29. The event forms part of a cross-border series held at various locations across Germany and Austria. It is organised by Michelle Kreil GesbR, whose activities include advertising, marketing communications and the organisation of events, markets and trade fairs.

The festival covers virtually every key aspect of planning a modern wedding. Exhibitors showcase bridal fashion and accessories, wedding photography and videography, bridal hair and make-up, floristry and décor, wedding venues, catering, wedding cakes and patisserie, wedding rings and jewellery, as well as music and entertainment services. The offering is complemented by wedding planners, celebrants and other specialist suppliers. Exhibitors therefore represent a broad range of sectors, including fashion, beauty, photography, jewellery, hospitality and the events, music and creative industries. The festival also has a strong regional focus, with contemporary wedding suppliers from Augsburg, Bavarian Swabia and other parts of Bavaria among those represented.

The festival is primarily aimed at engaged couples planning their wedding who place particular importance on contemporary design, professional services and personalised advice. They often attend with their witnesses, family members or friends. The concept is particularly suited to couples who value quality, design, craftsmanship and direct personal contact with wedding professionals. Depot29’s location also offers excellent conditions for the event. The venue is situated north of Augsburg’s historic city centre at Wertachstraße 29b. The Senkelbach tram stop, served by line 2, is directly outside the entrance. Augsburg Central Station is approximately three kilometres away, while the A8 motorway can be reached within around five kilometres. Depot29 is therefore easily accessible both by public transport and by car.

As a major regional centre in Bavarian Swabia, Augsburg itself is well placed to host the wedding festival. Its location makes the event accessible not only to couples from Augsburg and the surrounding area, but also to visitors and wedding professionals from other parts of Swabia and Bavaria.
